We heard from the Birchbox folks that this month was inspired by the great outdoors and nourishing natural ingredients. So what was in my Birchbox this month?
willa™ Lavender Facial Towelettes :: these lavender facial towelettes are currently out of stock and I know why! They are fabulous! I love coming across convenient products, as a busy workin' momma and these fit the bill! They removed all traces of makeup, leaving my face feeling clean, refreshed, moisturized...not to mention smelling great! At $7 for a pack of 30, I think these are a great deal, and apparently so does everyone else!
Dropps Laundry Detergent :: I haven't tried these Dropps yet, being that it would mean that I actually have to do laundry, my nemesis. However, with two little ones with sensitive skin, you better believe I'll give these scent + dye free Dropps a go! Again, more convenience! Thanks Birchbox!
Wonderstruck Taylor Swift :: awww, how sweet is that? A perfume by Taylor Swift...and it's nice! A very floral scent, but it's not overpowering and didn't give me a headache. That means it passed my perfume test! However, if I'm spending $60+ on a bottle, it's gotta be Chanel...but this isn't bad!
J.R. Watkins Hand & Cuticle Salve :: who doesn't need to share more love with their cuticles? I was happy to see this little salve in the box, and it's now sitting right on my nightstand. Now if I can just remember to use it often!
Zoya TRUE Spring Collection in Bevin :: my favorite product in last month's Birchbox may be my favorite again this month and that's a bottle of nail polish! I received Zoya's True Spring in Bevin and I think it's just too cute! What I love about receiving nail polish samples is that so far I've received two colors that I would have never picked for myself, but I love them! It's like going out of my color comfort zone, and I like it! The price point of $8 is typically what you'd spend for a decent bottle of polish and the TRUE Spring line has some great colors.
So do you love my Birchbox? I do!

ReplyDeleteMine was just slightly different. My color was a purple and I got a mask as opposed to the wipes. I heard from a friend of mine who does strictly beauty box reviews that next months box is Gossip Girl inspired! Excited to see what's in that one!
