A few months ago, I picked up this cute little owl from my local Goodwill...
I debated leaving him as is, I mean, I love his coloring; however, once again I found he wasn't being put on display in our house because the colors just didn't jive. In order to give him a new life out and about in our home, I decided to use the leftover spray paint from my Vanity Tray project from last week for a little owl makeover...
And here's how the little guy turned out!
And already he is front and center on our kitchen island, nestled in with our bowl of faux fruit and mail basket (also Goodwill scores).

ReplyDeleteI love paining vintage owls white! They are usually easy to find at thrift stores but ugly retro colors. Most people pass them up because they don't realize how easy it is to spray them. Very cute :)
