Remember this little guy from a few weeks ago?
Well...being as resourceful as I am (ok, you may call it lazy), I fashioned my tulle St. Patrick's day shamrocks with twine that I tied around the tulle wreath so that I could simply untie it come Easter time and add a more Easter-y themed banner. And that's exactly what I've done! I used my handy dandy Silhouette Cameo and cut out some cute Easter eggs, glued them to some twine, added a new ribbon (that I got on clearance from Hobby Lobby for $1 I might add!), and voila! A perfectly Spring-y and adorable tulle Easter wreath (inspired by my friend Erin and this pin). What do you think?
PS - if you're looking for the tutorial of how I made the tulle wreath in the first place, simply go to this LINK and you'll see it step by step!

Ah! That's so smart. I've been thinking for a while on making a wreath where I would change just a smart part of it for each holiday...but haven't quite gotten there yet! :)

I love the look of tulle and it is so pretty on a wreath. I would say changing to decoration and now the wreath is resourceful, not lazy. =) I would love it if you would link up your wreath on my first linky party, Dare to Share.

How fun! Tulle really does make a fun, textural wreath! I'm smitten!
ReplyDeleteIt's so great when you click on something labeled Easter, but you can use it for so many things. I have been making fabric wreaths, when I say this all I could say is wow, I Love it. I have some tulle left over from my candlestick Christmas trees so I'm going to try this one. THanks so much, as usual you're always on the ball.
