The Glitter Academy: Spring 2012 Craft Extravaganza!

Thursday night was the second installment of The Glitter Academy: an evening of crafts, food and fun for Arizona (and a few out-of-state) ladies. I'm new to the blogger world, so I didn't know about the first one, but after attending this one, so sad I missed it! It was a blast!

To top off fun craft kits, fantastic sweets (frozen yogurt bar, cake, cake pops AND cookies), a vendor area (I MAY have spent a FEW $$), and the lovely ladies in attendance...Kim Stoegbauer of The TomKat Studio was a special guest speaker! I just LOVE her site and her products. It was so fun to hear her share some of her story and insight. So of course I (ok, along with many others) had to stop and snag a pic!

She is such a sweetheart! Extremely personable and approachable...and so pretty! I went with a couple of friends and met some great bloggers that I really admire. Here's a snapshot of my night...

It was a FANTASTIC night! I met so many more great ladies and bloggers, including Kristyn from Lil Luna, Stephanie from Somewhat Simple, Aimee from It's Overflowing, Sara from Mom Endeavors, Kelli from Lolly Jane, and Emily from 52 Mantels and ran into Laura from Pink Cake Plate! I can't wait til we have another event. I'm there! Thanks to all who put so much work into make it a great evening!
